Advanced Fair Housing Act OR The Seven Deadly Sins of the FHA

This advanced building code course addresses the specific requirements of the Fair Housing Act. The course will instruct attendants in the specific requirements of the Act – accessible building entrance on an accessible route, accessible and usable public spaces, usable doors, accessible route into and through the covered unit, light switches, electrical outlets, thermostats and other environmental controls, reinforced walls for grab bars and usable kitchens and bathroom.

When the course has been completed the attendant will have a better understanding of the applicable accessibility requirements of the Act.
