The ABC’s of the New ADA and the FACBC – Advanced

This Advanced Building Code course addresses the specific requirements of the Florida Accessibility Code for Building Construction and the 2010 ADA Standards. The course will instruct attendants in the specific requirements for: the accessible route, accessible parking requirements, the issues of Florida’s specific requirements regarding vertical accessibility, providing accessible toilet rooms, bathrooms and toilet stalls.

There will be an update as to where the Federal Access Board and the Department of Justice are with their requirements for accessibility.

When the course has been completed the attendant will have a better understanding of the applicable accessibility requirements.
